By-Law 1908, Being a By-law to ban smoking in and around public buildings in the City of Steinbach
Steinbach prohibits smoking and chewing tobacco within 50 feet of the entrance to municipal buildings that is commonly used by the public or employees. The bylaw does not mention air intakes or operable windows. A number of buildings are named in the bylaw, but it also stipulates that the bylaw applies to any other building(s) which the City of Steinbach may build, lease, or purchase after date of passage of the bylaw.
