Smoking prohibited on grandstands-open air seating primarily but not exclusively used for watching sporting events. Smoking also prohibited on bar and restaurant patios and sidewalk cafes. Smoking was also not allowed within 3 m of doorways of public buildings and workplaces, but that has now been superseded by Alberta’s province-wide 5 m provision. Bylaw does not mention air intakes or operable windows.
