Bylaw No. 448-2008, A bylaw for the purpose of regulating where people may smoke

Smoking prohibited within 7.5 m of any doorway, window or air intake of a Place of Public Assembly, as well as on or in any outdoor patio of same. Broad definition of smoking includes other weeds and substances, which are also prohibited inside public places or workplaces.

“Smoke or Smoking” means inhaling, exhaling, burning or carrying of a lighted cigar, cigarette, pipe or other smoking equipment of tobacco, or any other weed or plant. “Place of Public Assembly” means a building or structure, or portion thereof used for the purposes of education, recreation or business to which the public is ordinarily invited or permitted access, either expressly or by implication, whether or not a fee is charged for entry.
